The Tiguan left the factory with 138BHP — respectable for a large four-cylinder family SUV — but we knew we could unlock more. We were called out to remap a 2004 Audi TT 225, a 20-year-old car with 164,000 miles on the clock. The 1.8 turbo engine in the 225 model is already well-tuned from the factory, and while some gains are possible with a decat tune, they tend to be modest — especially on older, high-mileage engines.
