Our second job of the day was a great local one — a 2.0 Audi A4 Avant from Redruth, brought in to Kernowsport for a DPF delete and Stage 1 performance remap. The owner had been experiencing intermittent engine management lights, with fault codes indicating injector and glow plug problems. However, these weren’t the true cause — the real issue was excessive back pressure from a blocked DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter). This is a common issue we see on a lot of vehicles: the sensors detect pressure problems caused by a blocked filter and wrongly assume a hardware fault.
