Job number five today was an unusual one for Kernowsport. Our friends at Harts Haulage in Pool have the contract to transport and process the road surface from the A30 resurfacing works, which are taking place every night for eight weeks. With more than 30 vehicles and staff on site, the job is a huge logistical operation. At 1:15pm we received an urgent call — the milling machine used to rip up the old road surface had stopped working due to an AdBlue fault. In what was possibly our last holidaymaker rescue job of the year, we were called to Monkey Tree Holiday Park near Newquay to resolve an AdBlue issue on a rather special car — a Vauxhall Insignia BiTurbo diesel. This wasn’t just any Insignia either. According to its owner, there are only six of these top-spec BiTurbo models in the UK, and all of the owners know each other!
